Once upon a time on a village so sublime.
Lived a few kids who flew their kites, touching the suns bright light.

But then came a cloud, so big and loud.
The kids couldn't play, the sun was in the shroud.

There lived sky girl, so sad and alone.
"I wish I had a friend", she would constantly groan.

But alas, she was a cloud, up there she flown.
No friends to play with, just her and the ozone.

She peered through the sky, to see the kids go home and dry.
She felt guilty and bad, for making all the kids cry.

But just when she was about to leave, a kite had suddenly flew by.
How could this be? Usually the kids leave when she comes! Oh my!

There she saw, a boy in yellow.
Flying his kite in the harsh rain so mellow.

She grabbed on the string, she wanted to say hello!
There she descended, from the great gray billows.

The boy was shocked to see a young girl latch on.
He thought to himself, who is this girl who had drifted down upon?

He raised his hand to wave a greeting, maybe form a small bond.
With such a strange girl made of cloud, a girl who had descended from the beyond.

He had pulled her to the ground, the young girl was shy.
"Hi, my name is Rain Boy!", the young girl looked and sighed.

"Why are you so sad in a rainy day?", he said with a smile so wide.
"I'm so sad because they want the rain to go away", she had replied.

"But can't they see?", he said so keen.
"The pitter patter of the droplets is so serene!"

"How about we become friends, we can be a team!"
"I hate seeing you so gloom, so why not show a little gleam!"

The young girl was shocked, it was finally a friend.
They played together in the rain like there was no end.

He made her a kite, she flew it and watched it ascend.
They had lots of fun! Their time was truly well spent.

But out came Mr. Sun, he had dried up all the rain.
Sky Girl began to float, no longer can she remain.

She was sad, no more friend, her tears she can't contain.
The little joy she had, it had started to wane.

She looked back to see the young boy as she went back up high.
She can't help herself and let out a little cry.

But Rain Boy had one more thing to say before goodbye

"We'll see each other again! Next time I see you in the sky!"

COMMENTARY TIME!!!!

sorry bout that, it's a little generic i know. i wasn't aiming for the next Green Eggs and Ham, i just wanted my damn grades brah and i already got a six point deduction for being four days late and over exceeding the page limit i am going to CRY!!!!!

anyways, here's some concept art i made and showed to my professor. he thought it was cute/





my original idea for this was supposed to be a little darker, the ending would've been Sky Girl being taken away by the sun and with her sadness she cries so loud it causes a big storm. the storm makes her gray and heavy and she descends once more and runs towards the town only to find it flooded with Rain Boy no where to be seen. she goes back to the sky all sad and stuff and she finds out Rain Boy is now with her in the clouds, and they live happily ever after!!

that's a little dark don't you think?

also, i know Rain Boy has both a zipper and buttons on his rain coat, IT WAS TOO LATE AND I DIDN'T WANT TO ERASE ALL OF IT!!!

that's pretty much it, at the moment i'm waiting for this shite to get graded. my grades are wrecked but i don't care anymore.
